I will never forget that day! April 4th,2008 was the first day I started to work and live onboard the ship. I was 23 years old at that time and really excited to see the outside world! You probably wondering in which ship I was working before but I think it would be best if I don't mention it's name... :)
Well, all that I can tell you that it is an Italian cruiseline company and it is pretty famous. From now on I will call it the C.

The first time I saw the C it was a clear day. I was in Savona, a small city in Italy where the ship will pick up all of the guests and also crews. The C was a huge ship and brand new. Together with the other crews from different countries we entered the ship. I was particularly thinking, " When I'm gonna get out from here??!"
I was really scared. I imagined that the work must be so hard. And I was right...

I was designated to work in room service department as room service attendant. The room service pantry was a medium long pantry with 12 other collegues that I worked with. At the beginning everyone was really nice to me. But of course I need to becareful in case some of them are just pretending to be nice. Apparently,the other attendants are not the one i should feel worry off. It was the supervisor.

Her name is Anna Maria. She came from Colombia,small body and curvy with a blond hair and brown eyes. She's like a barbie if I might say. But never be fooled by the appearance cause she is a total b***h!!!!
She is so stricht (I am fine with that) and she liked to shout ( this is the main reason why I don't like her). She shouted so much I think she can't speak softly.
Many many times she shouted at me,especially when I made mistakes. Even one time she shouted at me in front of the others and it made me cried! Well I didn't cry on that spot, I went back to my cabin and cried myself out.

After that I started to have a fear of her. I was scared to even talk to her. All I did was get through the days by not making her mad or upset. From it sounds maybe you thnk that this woman is a really bithcy boss, but she did have some good things on her that I valued until now.
I realized that if she didn't treat me so harshly then I won't be as strong as now in this industry,
Thanks to her I finally able to do all the works in room service really well.

Anna Maria is no longer work in the C now. She told me that she decided to stay in Bogota and have her own bakery shop. How nice! I still respect her. And I wish her all the good things in her life.
This is one of my stories on the C. Next time I'm gonna share with you the other story.
